After the First Battle at Bull Run,: A. Robert E. Lee knew that he would quickly defeat the North. B. Ulysses S. Grant was made commander of the Union army. C. the North and the South realized that the war would be long, hard struggle. D. Abe Lincoln realized that the war would be short. HELP PLEASE!

Alright, I'm not entirely sure since my notes are awful. I quote from my notes. "And the North be like DAYUMM, THIS THING IS LONG, and the south be like MHMM" Hahaha I get bored and class and write funny notes like this. XD So My best guess would be C. The war wasn't short and Abe knew it, same with Lee and I'm not sure if Grant was commander after the war so. C :D
