Cannot Vietnam as pres Johnson was related to Vietnam, the bein wall was established after WWII, even before Kennedy's presidency. The first tension was the bay of pigs, which a failed attempt to overthrow Cuba by the rebels who were tried by the CIA. That was in 61. Cuban middle crisis happened in 1962.
