hm first divide the 9764 by 5 to get the number for one year
9764/5=1952.8 so one year of pencils is 1952.8 pencils now what do you think you do next?
multiply that by 8?
i think multiply it by 8 and add the 5 previous years 1952.8*8+9764=25386.4 then round the answer to get 25386
