OpenStudy (compassionate):

These were all in the last few minutes [link below] Are we low on English Ambassadors or something?

OpenStudy (compassionate):

I know we're not low on Math Ambassadors. If you could tell me some English/Math Ambassadors so I can forward these messages to them, that'll be great.

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Why only ambassadors ?I think ordinary users can help too.

OpenStudy (compassionate):

Users/Ambassadors. I keep getting tagged in English, Computer programming, and History. I mean, if these sections are getting so little activity that users need to message me to get answers then I think we should focus on those sections, assign ambies to them, etc.

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Ambies are here to welcome new users .We cant expect them to work on answers in particular sections.

mathslover (mathslover):

All have their own interests and different expertise in topics, how can we ask them to answer the questions of that topic which is not known to them. OS needs to collaborate to an institution which can help with history/english or any unactive subjects here.

mathslover (mathslover):

Though, being good users of this site, we can try to keep the groups active.

OpenStudy (compassionate):

The older ambies, sure. The new(er) ambies are being assigned to certain sections to welcome users there and help them. I think it's a great idea to distribute Ambassadors in each section so questions don't go unanswered and every new user feels welcomed. The math section was playing a huge monopoly which made it unfair for many other sections. I know me and some other Ambassadors have been given particular sections to welcome users and answer their questions. This system is more effective than the aforementioned monopoly. I am great at History and English, that's why people tag me in it. But I'm also preoccupied with helping people in Physics, Health Sciences, and math. I just think if we got some Ambassadors to lurk those sections then it'll increase traffic in OpenStudy and gain more longterm members.

mathslover (mathslover):

Thats' a good idea but I think we will have to discuss with all first, why not raise this topic in today's meeting?

OpenStudy (compassionate):

Alright.

OpenStudy (ja1):

If you want compassionate link English questions and other topics to me I help alot in these lower visited areas.

OpenStudy (ja1):

@Compassionate forgot to link you :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm always in history make me an ambassador

mathslover (mathslover):

Good @Ja1 and @Aaeron23 , keep on going . We will check it out if u deserve to be. Aeron23 fill the form of ambassadors.
