Alright, so you have to solve for X. In order to do that you need to get X on one side by itself. So you subtract 7 from the left to the right. And you get -15. Then you add 3 to the right side and get -12. You then simplify 3x-9x which is -6x. You divide -6 on both sides, and you get 6. Not negative 6 because two negatives equal a positive. :)
