Hiawatha basically helped establish the Iroquois confederacy, so he is a founding father of the Iroquois. The Iroquoian used to be separate tribes with the same language (Iroquoi) and Hiawatha helped make them come together. He also preached peace throughout his whole life, but is your question asking about his birth specifically or how his birth brought upon his life and all the great things he did?
