If c is a positive real number, the graph of f(x) – c is the graph of y = f(x) shifted downward c units therefore in your question u just subtract 8 \[g(x)=x^3+4x^2-6x+2-8\]which is equal to\[g(x)=x^3-4x^2-6x-6\]
