What are the products of glycolysis. How many ATP molecules are produced and consumed by glycolysis? What effect does the presence of oxygen have on the events that follow glycolysis?

well, you might want to look this up for yourself. the cool things about glycolysis is that it produces a net increase of 2 ATP molecules for each glucose consumed. the other important metabolites (per glucose molecule) are the 2 pyruvates and (2?) NADH. oxygen is needed as the electron sink in the process linked to the "electron transfer chain". it's related to the answers you are looking for. discover knowledge for yourself. don't let people feed you quick answers. it's all really cool.
