Use Cos 23° = x/39 and find x

Cos(x°) = Length of adjacent side / length of hypotenuse

35.89 maybe it asked you to round it to nearest 10th or 100th or something I don't know I got 36 too

Ok i see what my problem was I mis read it. I rounded it to 36. It should be 35.9 because it is rounded to the neearest 10th. Thanks.
