Step 1: Write out your equation -3t + 6 < 3 Step 2: Get "t" alone -3t + 6+(-6) <3+(-6) -3t < -3 -3t/(-3) < -3/(-3) t < 1 Step 3: Do we flip or what!? - In this instance, yes. Why? Because you just divided by a negative number and you always flip when multiply or dividing by those. Answer: t > 1
