OpenStudy (karatechopper):

What is a color which describes Tolerance? Magenta? Comment your colors below and tell me why :) **This is for a language arts project: Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

the color blue represents patience. http://www.eaglespiritministry.com/works/colorch.htm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Tolerance would be white - because in color addition, all colors together are white, just like tolerance is a product of a lot of emotions like irritation, anger, satisfaction, patience, and etc.

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

But white is the absence of light.. But..hmm..

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

Would some sort of bold color be able to describe tolerance?

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

Like..Red?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why would you use a bold color though? isn't tolerance a neutral feeling?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you sure white is the absence of light, I thought it was black.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is black if you're talking color addition( like the light you see from lightbolbs, and from tv and etc). color subtraction( when painting) then it is white.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ahh I see, thanks :)
