16. Describe the motion of a bowling ball hitting the pins using all three of Newton’s laws of motion. Include a description of the different types of friction present.
F = ma i don't know which law of his that one is, but it's that formula I think.
I don't remember all of his laws, but one is about inertia. Which I think talks about a particle at rest...
First law: Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it. Second law: The relationship between an object's mass m, its acceleration a, and the applied force F is F = ma. Acceleration and force are vectors; in this law the direction of the force vector is the same as the direction of the acceleration vector. Third law: For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. @ abb0t

If you know the laws, just apply them! I don't want to write this for you.
Ok I understand but I don't know what to say when it asks "Include a description of the different types of friction present."
friction means resistance that one surface or object encounters when moving over another. meaning the ball across the floor, when it hits the pins...
there's air resistnace, don't forget that. Which is one reason why when you throw a ball, it eventually slows down. it reaches a maximum speed and eventually decreases. do you get where i'm going with this?
