Please help me!! A rental car agency charges a flat fee of $110.00 plus $46.00 per day to rent a certain car. Another agency charges a fee of $70.00 plus $74.00 per day to rent the same car. A. What are the two equations to represent the situation? B. What is the number of days for which the costs are the same? C. What is the cost on the day when they are the same?
A. 110+46d and 70+74d
I'm nt to sure on the other ones.
\[110+46d=70+74d\] solve for \(d\)
I just need C.
Once you solve for d, plug it back in to one of the equtions, right Satellite?
replace \(d\) by whatever you got when you solved for \(d\) in either expression to find the cost
what @averixx said
I got 223 and 206..is that right?
They should be the same number, since it's asking when is the same number. What did you get for d?
1.43
Okay, so did you plug it into 110 + 46d? and then 70+74d?
175.78...I just got that for both. I didn't add it right.
Thank you so much @averixx
