OpenStudy (mazehaq):

The density of platinum is 21.4 g/cm^3 at 25 degrees C. Its density in kilograms per cubic meter is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since kilogram is larger(thats why it has kilo- in front of the word) than the gram, we move the decimal point for 21.4 three places to the left to get .0214 kilograms. 1 kilogram = 1000 grams,-- (21.4 g/cm^3)/1000 grams = (.0214 kilograms/cm^3) --- hope that helps...
