Describe how to transform the graph of f into the graph of g. f(x) = x^6 and g(x) = - x^6

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Do you about transformations?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea i think it is Reflect the graph of f across the y-axis

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Here I'll give you a visual aid and you tell me :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but is that correct?

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Luigi0210

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

x-axis reflection. y-axis reflection would be \(h(x) = (-x)^{6}\), but, because of the symmetry, that doesn't do much.

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Yea sorry about that.. technical difficulties
