write the equation in standard form .then factor the left side of the equation . 2x^2=28-x can u please explain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Standard form is \(ax^2 + bx+ c = 0\). This just requires rearranging the equation. Move everything to the left side. 1. Add x to both sides. 2. subtract 28 from both sides. 3. Factor, complete the square, or use the quadratic equation. Even though this question may factor evenly, I would use the quadratic equation just to avoid the guesswork.
