what is the difference between computer architecture and computer

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Well, think about architecture for a building and a building. It is a similar relationship because that is where the term comes from. The architecture for a building is not the building. However, it is comprised of a set of plans for creating the building that lay out everything needed. The placment of key parts, stress loading, so on and so forth go into the architecture of the building. It is the design and modeling of what will become the building. Think about that in terms of a computer.
