Actually it is A. The UN has authority over military forces. The UN gave approval for US intervention in Korea, which is the only reason we are there. The UN was much strogner and tighter than the previous, the League of Nations after WWI. The UN does sponsor various programs, and it does requires members to surrender a degree of sovereignty. One issue would be guns. Once we had a Senate vote on whether to allow the UN to take America's guns. Luckily it failed in a 54-46 vote, but nonetheless, it does require members to surrender a certain degree of sov. One issue would be limits of nuclear arms.
