well you already have all the information...that inequality they gave is the equation of what they said.

wants to spend NO MORE than 300 (a.k.a <= 300) right? ...she spends 75 on a coat (that's given) and wants to buy some amount of sweaters at $10 each...(a.k.a 10 times however many sweaters..."s" )

so

75 + 10s < = 300       the little line under the < sign just means "or equal to" so

$$75 + 10s \le300$$

we solve for s

First isolate s...make it the ONLY term on that left side...how do we do this?
