Why do independence movements often involve violent conflict?
@Aareon23 @hlee0919
U can have it lee
i was wandering is it for the reason that the people think that's the only way and the leaders don't like losing what they have so they would use force to try keeping them from rebelling
Because the country in control is benefitting and does not want to give up their economic/politcall/social advantages from having these countries/colonies under control. Just look at the Rev. War, the 1960 movements of counterculture and Civil Rights. Common Sense was created and was a big hit in the Rev. War, 4 college were shot and killed at Kent State during a protest against the Vietnam War, and many black were lynched and killed, most notably the Scottsboro Boys and Emmett Till
so am i right because all these have to be in my own words
