Solve x+1=(2x-3)^2 Please show steps!

Here to solve for x, subtract x from each side. In doing this, the x on the left side will cancel out. You are now left with 4=x+3. Now subtract 3 from each side. x=1.

Oh never mind i got it! I forgot to apply the foil method to (2x-3) (2x-3) Thanks anyway :)
