Yeap. The Soviet Union believed in Communism and US believed in Capitalism. When Roosevelt died, Truman took over and Truman was even more anti-communist. So during the Potsdam conference, there were a lot of suspicion between Stalin and Truman. Both sides disagreed about what to do with Germany too. Since so many Russians died from WW2, Stalin wanted to cripple Germany but Truman didnt want to make the same mistake of the Treaty of Versailles.
