In which area do we use python mostly. I mean what are its applications.

OpenStudy (joel_atkins):

Python is best at it's simplicity in short yet efficient coding, so that could be a ten minute small scale project which you use every day to calculate your tax, or a large scale one that you could use to combine many small scripts into the one, a virtual calender for instance, which could pop things up accordingly to the dates.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can we program microcontroller using python.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Python is a general-purpose language, and that means you could use Python in various areas and different platforms as well (web, command line interface scripts, embedded devices, arduino and more). Anyway, I'm a web developer (focused in PHP language in fact), so I could say: all the web. Most of the big web companies nowadays use a lot of technologies together to make their web sites, but looking to their initial paths, it was like this: - Facebook: PHP - Twitter: Ruby - Google: Python (oh, here it is!!!) Google even provides a Python class for teaching the language: https://developers.google.com/edu/python/ That's it!
