Help Me Please !! :) Which expression is always equivalent to m?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. m/1 * 7 B. m/7 * 7 C. m/2 * 14 D. m/14 * 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Think about what each equation is doing to m. For the first one, you are dividing by 1 (which is still just m) and then dividing by 7. Is that equal to m itself?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But is the 7 Multiplying .. So it would be M/1 = m and m*7 is m7 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh right I meant multiplying, derp. Yes it is 7m, which is not equal to m. Now tell me about the second choice.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It a little different so im not sure but Would it be m/7 = m7 and then you multiply it by 7 so it would be m7 * 7 = m49

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@smokeydabear

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you were to multiply 7 you would have to do it on both sides so it would be m=49

OpenStudy (anonymous):

m divided by 7 is m/7. If you multiply that by 7, you would get back to m. Does that make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your answer would be b !!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh gosh got to love my sister ! -.-

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sometimes I miss the obvious things too, it happens to the best of us ^^
