How to write a thesis statement for a research paper?

Im doing a research paper and dont know how to write the thesis for it.
I know how to write a thesis for a argumentive paper but this is a research paper.
My topic is Cholera. Its a health issue for Africa. So what do I say? How should I start it?

Tips for Writing Your Thesis Statement
