Hi, I'm on PS4 (2011). I've finished it, but the decoded fable has a few words messed up (2 or 3). I'm hoping it was a troll due to the moral of the said fable. The solution looks to be from a different year.

I also had a few words that were messed up. I traced it down to how I decided between two competing shifts - if two different shifts produce valid words/strings I picked the shift that produced the longest word/string - a couple of times this was the wrong choice. Hope that made sense. I didn't try to fix it because I could figure out a rule or set of rules that would always make the correct choice.

I had this problem too - after much thought I decided there simply isn't any way to always get the right answer, because it's a matter of meaning and grammar, not literal content. You'd be looking at analysing probabilities of upcoming strings of words based on frequency of use in some dataset, and that's a bit excessive...
