How do you add 6/7x + 1/4?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

I believe it's pretty much same thing...find a common denominator...you just need to worry about an x now 6/7x + 1/4 Least common denominator? is 28x 7x goes into 28 x 4 times....and 4 goes into 28x 7x times...so now multiply the tops by those 24/28x + 7/28x you can do the rest from here right?

Oh! That makes so much for sense! Thank you

edit: forgot the x on the second fraction 24/ 28x + 7x/28x
