Really depends how deep of an understanding you are looking to get. If this is something you want to do professionally then a lot of times you will get the best training through a program like that, there are always good youtube videos to go from, but unless you know what you are looking for sometimes you may miss something. Really depends on your learning style, my first CAD course was an in person class I took at our university, same for FEA. But after that I was able to keep up with it on my own and through searches.
