Help please Pre-Calc. It is part of statistics

OpenStudy (rea201):

\[\sum_{0}^{6}(3n-2x)=7\] Solve for x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[3\sum_{0}^{6}n - \sum_{0}^{6}2x = 7\] Summation rules give you this. \[3(\frac{ 6(6+1) }{ 2 }) - \sum_{0}^{6}2x\] (I'm assuming you know how to get to this step. If not, I can clarify) \[63-\sum_{0}^{6}2x = 7\] Simplify. \[\sum_{0}^{6}2x = 56\] Summation of a constant is always that constant, so now you can go to 2x=56 x=28

OpenStudy (rea201):

Ohh ok thanks that truly did help a lot.

OpenStudy (rea201):

But can you clarify that one step. I am kind of stumped on that but the rest I get.
