A square banner has an area of 20 square feet. To the nearest tenth of a foot, what is the length of one side of the banner?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's square, so each of the sides are equal, and area = length x width. You can figure that out.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, it's a square, so you know all sides must be equal. If the area is length times width, you will have to find a number multiplied by itself to equal 20.
