In triangle ABC, C is a right angle. Side c=9 and side a=5. What are the measures of the remaining side and angles, in degrees, of the triangle? Round answers to the nearest hundredth if needed.

OpenStudy (espex):

Since it is a right triangle you can use the Pythagorean theorem to find the remaining side. \[c^2=a^2+b^2\] And you can use the law of sine, law of cosine, or SOH CAH TOA to solve for your angles. You can check your angle values by remembering that the interior angles of a triangle equal 180 and that a right angle is equal to 90.
