it took kyle 7/8 of an hour to write an essay. it took alex 2/3 of that time. how long did it take to write his essay. can u please show me how to figure this out.

You simply have to multiply both of the fractions. Since he took 2/3 of the time that kyle took (which was 7/8) you simply want to know 2/3 of 7/8 so you multiply both.\[\frac{ 2 }{ 3 } * \frac{ 7 }{ 8 }\]
