Solve for x. -3x - 8 + 6x = 7

combine your like terms....combine the numbers with an 'x' that you see...and combine the constant numbers you see ie combine -3x + 6x ...you get? then add 8 to both sides of the equation to get x by itself..... what do you have so far?
