Solve for d. -10 = -2 + 1 d - 2

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

\[-10 = -2 + \frac{ 1d }{ 2 }\] like that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No the D is beside the 1/2

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

ahh okay...(same thing :P) so first you would add 2 to both sides of the equation -8 = d/2 multiply both sides by 2 to get rid of the fraction d = -16
