Write the 8th term in the sequence : an = 2n - 7

Parth (parthkohli):

To find the 8th term, you just have to take \(n = 8\). So \(a_n = 2n - 7\). You can plug in \(8\) for \(n\) everywhere and you get \(a_8 = 2(8) - 7 = ~?\)

Oh! I didn't know it was that simple. I was thinking too hard. Thanks!

Parth (parthkohli):

You're welcome! :-D
