Help with 3 short questions! [pics]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I totally just guessed on these questions. Does someone have the answers? Thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Should I Help??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes please! Just tell me what you think the answers are.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure, lemme see them!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can find the attached photo above.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or here:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup I am seeing them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Looks good to me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Q.8. I think its the first one (I am not sure about that) But must refer the book.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Q.2 : Spore is a product of asexual reproduction. produced by mitosis process, I think its ovary as it produces micospore

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do u think @joelp44

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To be honest, I skipped this part of the course... My textbook is at school, and I'm just googleing questions. hahaha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is due tomorrow, and I must have just skipped this part. I'm pretty confident with the rest of the Quiz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Same here! I am a Very bad bio stud.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well at least here you have a higher chance of getting a good answer than on Yahoo Answers. They don't do nothing but troll.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha true, true. So... What do you guys think? Lets all take an educated guess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I may agree with Rohangrr, but I'm not absolutely sure...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's been years since I've taken biology. I completed one whole science course through college entry level in eighth grade. Haven't looked back. So my guess is just that, a guess.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am on the side of Physics and math as I think they are intrsting. and chem, when I am in the lab doin' exp.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sort of a loose canon around my campus. I've pretty much got free reign of the science facilities. And I earned that respect, ironic that I can't even work basic probability.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm really dominant at English, Music, Chemistry and Filmmaking...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm more of an artsy kind of guy...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is smwht bcming a private bio_phy_math chat with 3 ppl

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I love chemistry, but, i also hate it, because it seems that the morons always flock to the most dangerous classes. One idiot mixed bleach with ammonia.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Only time I've ever punched someone in class.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hahaha. nice man. This is kind of off topic but, what's your guys' favorite movies?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm, honestly, aside from the AVP universe, and Star Wars, probably the classic Scooby Doo movies.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Joe whos that boy in the pic

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's me... hahaha. It's an old picture, and the dude with the mustache is my uncle. It confuses people sometimes lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm 17 now though... That picture is quite old

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, the greasy slicked forward hairstyle. Haven't seen one of those since I was in nappies.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Some of my favorite movies in no particular order: District 9, Hot Fuzz, Gladiator, The Count of Monte Christo, LOTR Trilogy, etc...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And yeah, I definitely don't rock that hairstyle... lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well at least you got family.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yo!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah man it's great. Do you not have much family around?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2H4l9RpkwM&list=PL08230BC08BF305AC Linkin's : breaking the habit!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

HOLD UP. You like Linkin Park? They just so happen to be my favorite band of all time.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ran away at the age of 15. Lived on the streets for a few years before I managed to secure a low paying job. Got lucky and was noticed for a scholarship.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Same here Joe!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why did you run away? Have you ever considered finding your old family? Were they abusive?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And Rohangrr... I find them to be just SO DAMN EPIC.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Many people dislike their new stuff... I on the other hand, love their new stuff AND old.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They disagreed with my choices. They were unhappy because I converted to Paganism. They had the whole exorcism, the slapping with the bible, the whole nine yards. Eventually I just left. And I've never tried contacting them because they never even bothered searching for me. Just wrote me off.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I bought their album from Itunes! its just awesome, the newly released song, in honor of war fighters CASTLE OF GLASS is just awesome, I hate those guys who just dislike them!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That absolutely sucks man. I myself am a strong, practicing Roman Catholic... I look with no shame upon non believers in any way. I see zero point in the whole "I SHUN YOU FROM THIS HOUSEHOLD!! WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO SAY FOR YOURSELF??!" type of mentality.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And Rohangrr, I totally agree, Castle of Glass is unreal. I love it when LP releases a new album... It's always so new and different. Their sound just amazes me sometimes. I hope don't split up for at least a looooong long time.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ironically enough Catholics are similar to Pagans in almost every way. From the rituals, to the worshipping of minor deities, IE saints, to the believing in archangels, the only conclusive difference, is that Pagan's view god as being a protector hence why we follow the goddess. Two sides of the same entity.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Living things was awesome!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Either of you like Black Veil Brides?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay bye guys! have a nice day! JESUS!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Never heard of them man, I should definitely give them a try.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They're sorta like KISS meets deathrock.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Seeya man! Nice talking to you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sounds interesting man. I'll keep them in mind

OpenStudy (anonymous):

remember: Every teardrop is like a waterfall, be happy dnt cry! life is amazing!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh god, a poet.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can find these weird poet-people everywhere...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So Chaos... I wanna help you, if you're feeling down. If you need to spill, just let it off your chest if you need it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I find your story interesting

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you asking to hear more of it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, if you feel like sharing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well let's see, I already told you why I left. I spent nearly four weeks just running, didn't care where to, I just was glad to be free. Ended up in a rather bad situation. Got caught up in a dogfighting arena and while leaving one of the dogs was let on me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ended up getting torn to shreds and hiding in a back alley. A small time gangster found me and helped me get to a local hospital. After I was discharged a week later under false names I eventually joined up with the guy's gang. Eventually realized that they were a group of losts like myself. So I guess you could say I'd finally found a real family.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Eventually things went bad, real bad. A new gang had come to town and they were "removing" any and all competition. I'd managed to find a woman who was a Pagan high priestess and she agreed to take me as an apprentice. I gathered up everyone in the gang and we eventually ended up in a pagan community.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

From there I ended up taking the mantle of leadership when they decided to convert. I was the one with the experience this time. Two years later after I'd become a fully ranked High Priest at the age of 18 I formed them together into a Coven. Then I was noticed by a local university, and I've been there ever since. Thanks to my stock market skills I've made enough money to construct a small manor in the heart of the largest pagan community around. So at 24 i've been through more than many people in their 50's.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Holy pellet man, I'll say you have. This is so crazy, I almost don't believe it. Sounds like it could be some sort of movie plot. Are you happy? I don't know how this whole Paganism thing works, but as a "high-priest", do you have a wife?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol I said S**t and it corrected me with "pellet"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nonetheless, this is one of the roughest beginnings I've ever heard.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In the legal sense, no. No judge was willing to issue a wedding certificate because of our religion. In the spiritual sense yes. Two actually.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm 17, live in a Catholic home, with two parents happily married. Family of 9 kids, half of which are older than me. I've been through some hardships, but never to that extent...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

An ideal family unit. Something I craved but never really received. Save for my girls, and their family I'm pretty much on my own. But i'm content.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Content is not the same as happiness. I'd say content is more temporary and physical, where happiness is much more full-blown, mind body and soul.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'd say I'm almost completely happy, I just have to get this p0rn addiction out of the way. I'm almost free of it. I was deep into that stuff. I'm clawing my way out slowly...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

True, but content sounds less childish. I use the two words interchangeably

OpenStudy (anonymous):

meh... I guess so

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As to the porn addiction, better that then meth.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Very true. Meth is terrible for you, and affects your physical appearance, health, and mental state. Porn however, is extremely difficult to quit, especially when I live in a house that's surrounded with computers/iPads/iPods. It not affecting your health too much actually makes it harder to quit in it's own way (imo). Because it's easier to say "oh there's nothing wrong with it" and just keep doing it. Studies have shown that porn and whacking off is much less destructive, but potentially far more addictive than cocaine... not sure about meth though.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

May sound like complete BS, but believe me, once you whack off and watch porn like 3 times a day for years, trying to quit cold-turkey is incredibly difficult.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're so used to that constant hit of dopamine and that immediate gratification whenever you want it, and when it's not even "bad for you"... why the hell not, right? That's what makes it one of the most addictive things on the planet.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Given your religious background...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Catholics are one of the most notorious "anti-sex" groups I've ever seen.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know... And the guilt that porn bestows upon me makes it even harder to quit.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll give ya the same advice I gave my apprentice when he was fighting a similar addiction. Meditation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or the catholic equivalent; meditative prayer. Or also known as "contemplative" or "silent" prayer. It works so well, but I just forget to sometimes... I should set an alarm or something

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Usually in a silent room, alone with myself and the Lord. I don't have to say anything... I could meditate on His creation, or the energy in the world. It's truly healing when done right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is that what the Bishops spend all their time doing? Cause either it's that, or they're scrubbing the floors judging by the state of their knees.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not sure what you mean by the Bishops knees... haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you've ever watched when the walk, they don't move like normal people's knees do.
