Multiplying matrices... the horror :D It will be better for you if you have a knowledge of "dot products" first. Are you familiar with this term?

Okay, the dot product is the sum of the products of individual components. While that might be hard to digest, in this case, it's... first times first PLUS middle times middle PLUS last times last. So it's 2x4 + 3x-1 + 0x8 8 + (-3) + 0 = 5 Got it? :)
