Resistance is a measure of how well a material conducts an electric charge. Would you expect to find a high or low, level of resistance in a copper wire and why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Resistance is an intrinsic property of a substance. If a substance has a high resistance, it does not transmit electrical energy well resulting in loss and wastage of energy. As copper wire is used almost exclusively in house hold wiring I would assume it would have small losses in energy and thus low resistance
