As the molecules travel away from the equator, which step in the water cycle is most likely to happen next? (will post picture...) The molecules cool and eventually form clouds. They're not gonna heat as they travel away from the equator, and rise into the atmosphere. The paragraph starts out by telling us that the water molecules are EVAPORATING from a lake. What that means is that the water is already in the form of water vapor. Think about the water cycle: What comes after evaporation?
