Well it's not C or D The slide sorter shows miniature views of all slides. Notes pane is an area under the slide where you can type notes. In PowerPoint 2013 they added a new featute called presenter view. The presenter screen has an area where notes are shown, the slide is there and various tools like pointers and effects. I think the note pane would be the best answer :)
