Help Never done this before
Here's a hint...if the coefficient is negative...the parabola opens Down....if positive...it opens up The bigger the coefficient is...the "skinnier" the parabola will be ...the smaller...the "wider" the parabola will be That should be enough to solve this...If I'm correct
the closer the number in front is to 0, the ...fatter the graph will be (out from the y axis) -ve co-efficients will result in the graph peaking at 0, + ones will mean it's low point is 0
The one that are concave have negative a values.
The larger the number, the skinnier the parabola.
okay D is closest to 0 or the opposite A?
the smaller one has the most value?
am i wrong or right?
pls help!
sorry about that....yes...the closer the coefficient is to 0 (smaller the number) the WIDER the parabola will be...so yes D would be the one closest to 0
and A would be with greatest value?
That is correct
A dn B will be negative and C and D are positive?
wait!...I'm not sure on that now....The greatest value hang on
k
but yes A,B are neg....C,D are positive...just let me think on that other one for a second
okay
@Mertsj help me out with this, because I feel like it is a trick question....asking for the GREATEST value....but .....the biggest number would be A.....however...that is a NEGATIVE number....would it STILL be considered the greatest value?
he isnt responding! :|
I feel like it would be A....I believe I'm overthinking it....perhaps the use of the word VALUE compared to NUMBER would make A be correct
thanks for all the other help man rlly appreciate it!
so lets clarify. A greatest number. D closest to 0 and A and B is Negative and C and D postive?
greatest value*
That is correct...I believe lol...still don't like the wording on that one I had to think about...but I believe it is correct
okay thanks anyways hahah
medal for helping
