Let's say we have a triangle with sides called a, b, and c, and that b is the base. Our triangle has a height that we'll call h. If a = 11 inches, and b = 3 inches, and c = 11 inches, and h = 10.89 inches, what is the perimeter of this triangle in inches? I got 25 for my answer, but i'm not completely sure?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah its true perimeter of any object is sum of all sides so in this case it becomes a+b+c=25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea I think they just threw the height in there to mess you up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

truly said there is no need of the altitude

OpenStudy (nurali):

Perimeter is the sum of all the sides or the length of all sides combined
