"Which best explains"?

Are you going to give us the choices?

Nationalism : Love of country, love of anthem, pride fof nation. Seeing their race as superior and others as competiors. Thus dictators tried to expand their nation by invading other countries---> World War

@VonNixonPham your def of nationalism is not even close to why dictators expanded their nations. Half of the nations didn't even have dictators. "Thus dictators tried to expand their nation by invading other countries.." That's imperialism, not nationalism..... A Serbian shot Prince Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary because he felt loyal to Serbia and did not want to be ruled by another country, and pretty much started WWI.
