Please show me the steps to solve for x: (3x/4)-(1/2)=(2x/3)+(5/6)

expand out the brackets move all of the x values onto the LHS of the equals sign move all of the other values to the RHS of the equals sign solve for x

OpenStudy (jack1):

so add 1/2 to both sides minus (2x/3) from both sides get common denominators so you can add like terms
