OpenStudy (jkristia):

Suddenly no LaTeX rendering in IE Suddenly I just see the latex code instead of the latex rendering in OpenStudy. Is this a problem with my IE, or is it a problem on 'the other end' ?. I assume latex rendering is done by sending the latex code to some service which returns an image which is inserted in the codes place - but I really don't know how it works, so is it a problem on my side ?

mathslover (mathslover):

That may happen for a while, did you try to refresh the page?

thomaster (thomaster):

Remember : the problem is Always Internet Explorer :P I recomment using Google Chrome, It's much faster and easyer then IE.

OpenStudy (jkristia):

hey - it works today - yeah, I should have double checked in Chrome. I have both but prefer IE :)

thomaster (thomaster):

Wow most people who prefer IE don't know any better browser but i'm quite surprised that you prefer IE over chrome :P

OpenStudy (jkristia):

haha, I also like Win8, and have actually replace Win7 with Win8 on 2 of my computers - so I might not be normal !! - haha

thomaster (thomaster):

Well there is not much wrong with windows 8 :P But Internet Explorer is simply trash compared to Chrome and Firefox (just my opinion)

OpenStudy (jkristia):

:) - anyway, now when I can see the latex again I will continue playing

thomaster (thomaster):

yay :) I love \(\LaTeX\)
