OpenStudy (anonymous):

0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as the function is undefined at x=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need to show my work. I know the answer is x is not equal to - 4

Parth (parthkohli):

The expression is \(\dfrac{3}{x+4}\). Can you tell me when we exclude a value?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we exclude a value when the function becomes undefined for the function given by u the value of x at which x+4 becomes 0 is excluded so x+4 becomes 0 at x=-4 so -4 is excluded from function

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the function can reach all values except zero
