Use a graphing calculator to solve the equation in the interval from 0 to 2pi. round to the nearest hundredth. 7 cos 2t= 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ganeshie8 help please?

OpenStudy (allank):

Hmm..rare to get asked to use a graphing calculator.

OpenStudy (allank):

What you want to do is to make t the subject of this equation, then graph t(theta) with 0<=theta<=2pi

OpenStudy (allank):

Whoops, lemme rephrase that

OpenStudy (allank):

Take it away @kirk.freedman

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Umm, so basically what I need is the answer and as much work as possible (im not sure how much work I can show if I use the graphing calculator)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What am I supposed to do?

OpenStudy (allank):

Alright, we have cos 2t = 3/7

OpenStudy (allank):

Using a graphing calculator we can compute arccos(3/7)=1.128

OpenStudy (allank):

Which in radians is about 0.36 radians.
