Someone PLEASE help. I keep going through the steps and am getting 190.8 which isn't one of the answers. What am I doing wrong? Assume a data set is normally distributed with mean 106 and standard deviation 35. If the data set contains 400 data values, approximately how many of the data values will fall within the range 36 to 176?

OpenStudy (phi):

190.8 is the # between the mean and 2 std above the mean (or 2 std below the mean) you want the # between -2 std and + 2std

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@phi so I would want 95.4% of the total, correct? so 381.6?

OpenStudy (phi):

yes, about 382
