OpenStudy (phi):

the first step is try to factor each of the terms. can you do that ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not sure how to do that. Can you explain how? o.o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Answer is x.

OpenStudy (phi):

can you factor \[ x^2 + 4x\] ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

heres how- x^2 +11x+28 =x^2 + 7x+4x+28= (x+7)*(x+4), In the dinominator : x^2+4x= x(x+4). Now plug those values and cancel the terms common with denominator and numerator. And you get x.
