how would i simplify csc(x)*cot(x)/sec(x)

OpenStudy (loser66):

\[csc = \frac{1}{sin}\] \[cot = \frac{cos}{sin}\] so, from numerator you have \[\frac{1}{sin}*\frac{cos}{sin} = \frac{cos}{sin^2}\] \[sec = \frac{1}{cos}---> \frac{1}{sec}=cos\] so you have \[\frac{cos}{sin^2}*cos=\frac{cos^2}{sin^2} = cot^2\]
